She's lonely.
Mood:  down
Now Playing: Sleepless beauty - The seeker.
She's lonely.

She's lonely in the morning
When he wakes up today.
When he hops in the shower
When she knows that he's late.

She's lonely as she wonders
If he even knows
That he didn't kiss her goodbye
As the door swings closed.

She's lonely as she watches.
Through the window as he leaves
He does not leave her sight
Until he's too far to see.

She's lonely as she pushes
Through the daily routine
Had ideas to impress him
But lacks energy.

She's lonely as she thinks
That she must just be lazy
So she forces herself up
Only to find the world hazy.

She's lonely as she wakes
In a few hours time
To find blood in her hair
Must have hit something, this time.

She's lonely as she showers
To wash it away
Before she realises with panic
She's terribly late.

She's lonely as she rushes
To the shops just in time
She's got headaches galore
But insists that she's fine.

She's lonely as she arrives
With the items required.
She looks around with distaste.
But she's still so tired.

She's lonely as she calls.
To ask about his day.
He's only got one job.
Then he'll be on his way.

She's lonely as she feels
That she's such a disappointment.
She couldn't even do it.
Not even just a portion.

She's lonely as she pushes.
Makes herself get up.
She cleans up for an hour.
But couldn't keep it up.

He arrives home today.
She's happy to see him.
He notices the cleaning.
A comfortable place to be in.

She's lonely as he leaves.
To relax, something calming.
But she knows he'll be back soon.
Always her prince charming.

She hates it when he works.
For her, for their life.
But watching him go each day.
It cuts her like a knife.

And she knows he works hard.
Too hard if she might say.
And there's nothing she can do.
To lighten up his day.

But she lays with him at night.
Listen's to him breathe.
She loves to watch him sleep.
It puts her mind at ease.

She loves him to death.
With all that she's got.
But when will it end.
When does it stop.

She wants to take his place.
To work so he won't go.
But she's not doing too well.
And it's more than he'll know.

But still she hopes and prays.
One day it will be done.
They'll find a balance and be happy.
And live together as one.

Name: "Razzie"

It's really beautiful... It touched me in a way that not many self-written poems around do. Really enjoyed reading it, you managed to capture the woman's feeling so... so accurately. You should share this with as many as you can.
